The Client
Kilig Filipino Warung is a Filipino fusion restaurant in Ubud, Bali — a romantic tribute to Filipino culinary culture. The brand embodies the joyful spirit of “kilig” (that giddy, heart-fluttering feeling) through soulful food, tropical ambiance, and heartfelt hospitality.
Kilig serves both locals and global tourists seeking a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
The Challenge
The client needed a digital presence built from scratch that would:
-
Establish a clear and culturally rooted identity
-
Capture the romantic and emotional essence of kilig
-
Make the full menu accessible and mobile-friendly
-
Enable seamless reservations, inquiries, and event bookings
-
Showcase both food and atmosphere through visuals
The goal: A website that feels warm, inviting, Filipino, and distinctly Bali-local — without looking like a typical warung or a generic restaurant template.

-
Emotional branding converts. Cultural storytelling creates stronger brand–audience connections.

Balance clarity with story. Restaurant websites need to convert casual browsers into diners while keeping brand warmth.
-
Mobile-first menus are critical. Structuring complex food menus requires UX tailored for smaller screens.
